The OPTIX AirTube S-XOTKtmdD cable is a universal (external-internal), round self-siupporting cable for use in Fttx systems, reinforced with high quality aramid fibres (load bearing in aerial installation), lightweight construction with a small diameter ∼ 3mm, high flexibility and resistance to dragging. UV resistant HDPE coating, completely dielectric, installation tension force: 600N, temperature range between -30°C and +60°C


The construction has been specially designed to provide very good fibre coverage allows for easy cable routing and atachment. The G.657A2 fibres in use allow reducing of the bending radius (up to 7.5mm). The tube is filled with hydrophobic gel for protection against moisure and vibration. The centre of the cable is protected against the ingress of water through moisure wicking fibres. The cables are designed for aerial installations on spans of up to 50m, in primary ans secondary tele-technical sewage systems by pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
